1. Data controller

Owner: Javier Castillo

Email address: privacy@parsigo.com

2. What data we process, and what for

Your email address. We process it in order to send you the diagnostic report you asked for. The legal basis is carrying out your own request, at your instigation (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Your email address, if you allow it separately. To send you content and commercial messages about visibility in AI-driven search, such as the newsletter if you subscribe to it. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time without that affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out beforehand.

Your email address and the website you ask us to watch, if you ask. To analyse that website again once a week for six months, renewable, and to write to you only when something changes or before it ends. The legal basis is carrying out your own request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). You can stop the watch at any time with «Stop watching», in every email. These emails are not advertising and do not put you on any list.

If you cancel a watch confirmation you did not ask for, we keep that cancellation for thirty days at most so that we do not send it to you again. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in not writing to people who have not asked us to.

Your IP address, user agent, the date and time, and the version of this policy. We keep these alongside your consent as proof that it was given, as Art. 7(1) GDPR requires, and to prevent abuse of the service. The legal basis is compliance with a legal obligation and our legitimate interest in the security of the service.

The web address you analyse. It is stored against the request. It is not personal data in itself, but we treat it with the same care.

«What an assistant understands from your site», if you ask for it. To show you what an AI assistant understands from the site analysed, we send an AI provider that site's address and the text of its public pages, as we fetch them at that moment. This only happens when you press that section's button. Your email and your IP address are not sent. The result is kept with the analysis. The legal basis is carrying out your own request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and, for any personal data that appears on those public pages, our legitimate interest in providing the service you ask for (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

3. Confirming your address

We use double confirmation: once you have left your email you will get a message asking you to confirm that the address is yours. Until you confirm, we send you nothing further and put you on no list at all.

The same goes for website watching: it does not start until you confirm your email.

4. Recipients

We use suppliers who act as processors, under a contract signed in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR: an email marketing provider with servers in the European Union, a hosting provider and, only for the «What an assistant understands from your site» section, Anthropic Ireland, Limited (Anthropic group), which provides the AI model that reads the pages. We do not pass your data to third parties for purposes of their own, and we do not sell it.

Anthropic only receives the address and the text of the public pages of the site analysed, and only when you ask for that section; never your email or your IP address. Anthropic processes this data outside the European Economic Area, mainly in the United States, under its data processing agreement, which includes the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, and its commercial terms forbid it from training models on what it receives through the API.

5. Retention periods

We keep your email for as long as you stay subscribed and, once you have unsubscribed, only the record of the consent and of the unsubscription, for as long as any liability could still be raised. Analysis data is kept for twelve months at most, including data from the weekly watch.

Watch requests you do not confirm are deleted after thirty days. A watch that is cancelled or has ended is deleted twelve months after it ends.

The result of the «What an assistant understands from your site» section is kept with the analysis and deleted with it, after twelve months at most. Anthropic deletes what we send it, and what the model replies, within thirty days; it may keep it for up to two years if its safety systems flag it as breaching its usage policy, or for longer if the law requires it.

6. Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability by writing to privacy@parsigo.com, saying which right you are exercising. You can also withdraw your consent at any time, using the unsubscribe link included in every email we send, and stop a watch with «Stop watching».

If you think we have not dealt with your request properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD): www.aepd.es.

7. Cookies

We use analytics and advertising cookies, and none of them loads until you accept it. Turning them down costs the same single click as accepting them, and you can change your mind from «Review cookies», at the foot of any page.

The detail of which cookies they are, who sets them and how long they last is in the Cookie Policy.
